Alia Bhatt has many projects in her kitty!
Alia Bhatt is in high demand and not just among Bollywood directors. The actress, who delivered a memorable performance in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, will soon be seen in Dharma Productions’ Kalank. We were treated to the first look recently and she looks breath-taking. While we’re waiting to see more of her in the Kalank teaser, reports are doing the rounds suggesting that Alia Bhatt has been approached by Baahubali director SS Rajamouli for his upcoming movie RRR. Buzz is that he’s ready to offer her a hefty amount salary for the project. However, Alia has turned down the movie.
Nope, it’s not because the money isn’t enough. It is because Alia has no dates for the filmmaker. The actress has too many projects in her kitty. This includes Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra, where she will be seen opposite her beau Ranbir Kapoor for the first time, Karan Johar’s Takht and her father Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2. There are also rumours doing the rounds suggesting that she is in the talks for a movie with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.
Given her tight schedule, Alia has decided to kiss SS Rajamouli goodbye, for now. A source told Mumbai Mirror, “She’s not free at all. She has to promote her upcoming film Gully Boy and then promote her next film Kalank. Then, she has to be shooting for Sadak 2, followed by Takht. She also has a discussion to do a film for Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.”
Post Alia’s decision, Parineeti Chopra is reportedly being considered for the role. An India Today report states that the Bollywood diva has agreed to be a part of Rajamouli’s film but on one condition. Parineeti is demanding a huge fee from the makers. The makers are reportedly in talks to seal the deal.
We’re keeping an eye out on this project and will give you all updates from RRR
