03/09/2019: We Urge USCIS to Release Updated Employment-Based I-485 Inventory Data

• USCIS used to release updates of the EB-485 inventory data for the consumers every three or four months. However, there has been unusual delay in update of the EB-485 inventory data for quite a while. The latest update which was released was July 2018. It is almost close to three-quarter behind from its practices. We understand that late frequent government shutdowns affected their resources to continue their services timely for consumers, but there are employers and foreign workers who are anxious to learn the level of EB-485 inventory because increased inventory may imply that processing or filing of new EB-485 applications could be further delayed.
