Even as her latest film release ‘Badla’ enjoys a successful run, actress Taapsee Pannu is busy shooting for her next film. Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ in Johri, Uttar Pradesh. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, it is an upcoming biopic drama film following the exciting story of the world’s oldest sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar.
While Bhumi Pednekar will be seen as Prakashi Tomar, Taapsee will play the 60-year-old Chandro Tomar who is also fondly known as Shooter Dadi. Taapsee says it is a big challenge to look like a 60 year old. Talking about the film Taapsee has said that it is the most challenging film of her career, more so because she doesn’t share the same struggles or background as the character.
Taapsee is still in her 30s and had to had to work on her make-up too to look double her age. And when it came to knowing more about the sharp shooters she says that they were guided by the Tomars to get it right.
