Finally! We will watch Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan together as they are coming together for Imtiaz Ali‘s untitled next. Yes, we’ve been waiting for them to share screen space since the time Sara expressed her desire to go out on a date with Kartik on Koffee With Karan 6. So, coming back to this Imtiaz Ali’s untitled love story, it will go on the floors in the next week in Delhi and will be extensively shot there followed by Punjab. The film will also feature Randeep Hooda in a key role, who previously worked with Imtiaz in Highway.

The source close to the film told Mumbai Mirror, “Kartik, Sara and Randeep have been doing readings for a while now and the film is ready to go on the floors. Unlike Imtiaz’s previous two films — Jab Harry Met Sejal and Tamasha — which were set in foreign locales, this one largely unravels in Punjab and Delhi.” The source further informed, “While Kartik and Sara are paired opposite each other, Randeep’s role is similar to that of Rishi Kapoor’s in Love Aaj Kal.”

Kartik also confirmed the news to the tabloid and said, “Yes, I am doing Imtiaz sir’s next film. He is one of my favorite filmmakers and I have always wanted to work with him. I am glad it’s finally happening.” Well, we are already excited for this romantic drama as it’ll be interesting to see how Imtiaz will bring out the best from this fresh pair in his trademark style.
